OPTIMIZATION OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

The use of fibrobeton and composite reinforcement allows you to enter savings into finished projects. Skilful planning allows you to get a lot of benefits when developing a project from scratch. Thanks to the experience gained, we can determine which elements should be optimized to obtain the largest profits.

You can optimize:

– a traditional foundation in the technology of footings and foundation walls
– traditionally reinforced foundation slab
– complicated and expensive anti-water systems
– structures of hydrotechnical constructions
– floors of single-family and industrial houses
– constructions of buildings subjected to adverse chemical and seawater conditions

We approach each entrusted task with the greatest commitment. Before submitting the offer for optimization, we carry out a thorough analysis of the provided design materials and engineering studies. When deciding on the nature of the introduced changes, we are guided by the benefits that our Employer obtains and the safety of use and durability of the structure.

The effects of the optimization process are:

– increasing the pace of construction works
– removing heavy insulation against water
– minimizing the risk of corrosion of the reinforcement
– removing a significant amount steel reinforcing bars
– improving the quality of reinforced concrete structure
– reducing the number of employees necessary to carry out construction works
– reducing the risk of human error
– reducing construction costs (containers, cranes, supervision, road lanes, etc.)
– earlier transfer for rent or sale completed building

FOUNDATION PLATES

FibroSLAB foundation plates are the flagship product of our company. We have been continuously refining our technology since 2011 in cooperation with many designers of building constructions, Polytechnics and concrete laboratories, ie Berg and Lafarge.

Foundation FibroSLAB is an alternative to traditional foundations made on benches and foundation walls. The use of a significant amount of reinforcing steel meant that they were significantly more expensive than traditional solutions. The use of fibrobeton resulted in lowering the price of the foundation slab and shortening the time necessary to carry it out. In many cases, it also influenced the improvement of the construction quality of this building element.

The solution we propose is gaining increasing popularity on the Polish and foreign markets due to the low price and simplicity of implementation even for inexperienced construction crew. This results in the fact that it is a solution possible to implement the economic system. It is a technology proven on over 200 construction sites implemented from the beginning of the project. The Construction structures project team has developed many models of boards for different types of building structures.

Particularly popular models are:

FibroSLAB Standard – This is the simplest panel model that is equivalent to a traditional foundation (benches and foundation wall), in which thermal insulation is used on the foundation wall. It is the cheapest and fastest method of foundation a building on the foundation slab available on the market.
FibroSLAB Comfort – This is one of the most popular models of foundation slabs. We use XPS boards of appropriate load capacity for thermal insulation under the panel. Thanks to this solution, we reduce heat loss. The solution assumes the implementation of another layer of insulation on the board and allows the installation of underfloor heating under the floor.
FibroSLAB Prestige – A solution dedicated to people who want to make a heating plate. The board is faded to the standard of the ready floor on which it is possible to mount ceramic tiles, panels or other cladding. In most cases, thermal insulation reaches a thickness of 20 centimeters XPS.
FibroSlab Izodom – a combination of two solutions – prefabricated styrofoam and fibrobetone fittings – to obtain the best parameter for thermal insulation of the slab and the lowest possible price for the foundation. The underfloor heating can be installed in the core of the board. The use of Agilia self-consolidating concrete enables obtaining a very even substrate on which finishing layers can be made.

To perform the offer and design of the foundation slab, you need:
– geotechnical study (geoengineering opinion)
– Land Use Plan (PZT) or other document based on you can determine the levels of land on the building plot
– projections and cross-sections of the building with the design of the installation

The FibroTech and Lafarge sales team will present the offer for the completion of construction works within 3 days. After its acceptance within 2 weeks, a substitute design for the foundation slab and preparations for starting construction works will be completed.

We have particularly attractive cooperation conditions for companies involved in the production and erection of prefabricated and prefabricated buildings. We are able to conclude long-term contracts guaranteeing timely service and the highest quality of construction works. Permanent commercial conditions will enable the submission of a comprehensive offer to customers wishing to purchase a house and its assembly at a single supplier.

FOUNDATION PLATES FibroSLAB Heavy Duty

The foundation plate of the FibroSLAB Heavy Duty (HD) model is the next step in the development of structural technologies. In contrast to the Home model, the Heavy Duty board is designed for large format construction – commercial and industry. Instead of a significant amount of reinforcement in the form of steel ribbed bars, we use steel or polymer fiber as well as fiberglass ribbed bars.

One of the buildings designed by us is a building for Wrocławskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Mieszkaniowego S.A. in Wrocław at Rychtalska Street.

Below is a list of materials provided for the project and their cost:

Concrete volume: 2,387,54 m3
The surface of the foundation slab is 5,279.24 m2

Tonnage of steel rebar – originally: 364,082 kg

Tonnage of steel rebar – after optimization: 164,489 kg
Tonnage of steel fiber – after optimization: 143.252 kg
The value of steel fiber: PLN 730,508.00 net

The benefits that we can get for our client:

– increasing the pace of construction works,
– removal of a significant amount of steel reinforcing bars,
– improvement of the quality of reinforced concrete structure,
– reduction of the number of employees necessary to perform construction works,
– reducing the risk of human error,
– reduction of construction costs (containers, cranes, supervision, occupation of road lanes, etc.)
– earlier transfer for rent or sale of the completed building.

To complete the offer and design of the foundation slab, you need:

– geotechnical investigation (geoengineering opinion),
– Land Development Plan (PZT) or other document on the basis of which land levels can be determined on a building plot,
– projections and cross-sections of the building together with the installation project.

The FibroTech and Lafarge sales team will present an offer for the project within 5 days. After its acceptance within 4 weeks, a substitute design of the foundation slab and a supply of materials necessary for contracting before the construction works will be carried out. During this time, we will train concrete mixing plants and the Contractor for the preparation, feeding and installation of the designed concrete mix.

FOUNDATION PLATES FibroSLAB Heavy Duty Hydro

The FibroSLAB Heavy Duty Hydro technology is designed for buildings exposed to groundwater, mainly in underground parts of residential and public buildings as well as underground engineering facilities. It was also interested in companies dealing with underwater reinforced concrete works and design studios providing solutions for sewage treatment plants (reinforced concrete tanks for clean and polluted water), river and sea construction as well as inland water reservoirs (pylons, marinas, dams).

To understand what the solution we propose, we must answer the question:
What is a shrinkage?

The concrete releases a lot of heat during binding and many chemical processes take place in it. Then its structure undergoes “tension”, eg like a fabric. At the moment when the “tension” exceeds the boundary of bonding strength, then the appearance of the scratch or “breaking of the fabric” occurs. In the case when reinforcement of ribbed steel concrete was used, the migrating water comes in contact with the rods, causing them to corrode, weakening the binding of concrete and reinforcement and causing the rod to “move” in the structure, which does not fulfill its task.

The addition of special fibers increases the strength and preservation of the monolithic structure of the structure, which prevents the migration of water. What’s more, the use of material insensitive to contact with water (composite rods) means that even in the case of water in the concrete structure, the binding of concrete and reinforcement is not weakened.

Our technologists have the task to adjust the type and length of fibers for a given project and to develop the optimal formula of concrete, while the designers of building structures redesign the reinforcement from steel rods to composite ones. This work model worked well during the implementation of small objects such as basements, single-family houses as well as large-surface panels and walls, an example of which is the pearl on the list of references of our designers and technologists: “Perłowa Dolina” in Bydgoszcz.

Praca badawczo-rozwojowa

– komplikacje występujące podczas dozowania do mieszanki betonowej,

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT WORK

The Construction Structures team started research and development activities at the beginning of 2011. The first successful project was the use of polypropylene fibers in the foundation slab of the utility. The demonstrated savings and improvement of concrete quality confirmed the rightness of the chosen direction and encouraged to continue work.

Over the following years, we analyzed many types of fibers and their technical parameters, assessing their suitability in the field of concrete reinforcement.

The most important was:

– the material from which the fiber should be made to obtain the best technical and economic effect,
– physicochemical properties of the fiber (eg length, diameter, shape, tensile strength, Young’s modulus, fiber softening temperature, resistance to water, acids and alkalis),
– conditions in which the fiber is subject to degradation during the use of the reinforced concrete element,
– fiber availability on the market,
– complications occurring during dosing to a concrete mix,
– complications occurring during incorporation of the concrete mix.

The obtained results made it possible to reach the investors who plan to build multi-storey residential and commercial buildings with the offer.

In order for our proposed solution to be welcomed by designers of building structures, we are constantly working on standards and design guidelines. To improve this process, we have established cooperation with partners that have laboratory and scientific facilities, where under the watchful eye of the Polytechnic employees we carry out samples of concrete samples made by us. Today we know how to use fibers to get reinforced construction concrete, anti-shrinkage, utility (floor), decorative, hydro-technical, resistant to high and low temperatures.

Our solutions have been used in single-family housing, multi-storey residential and commercial constructions, road construction, specialized as reactors for sewage treatment plants, hydrotechnical barriers and intermediate foundations (piles, wells, etc.). We make efforts to become pan-European experts in the field of concrete as well as methods of its reinforcement and increasing strength parameters. We are looking for new solutions for the use of fibers with different properties.

We can boast over 30 technical studies. These solutions are completely unknown or unused due to high costs or impracticality to date. We look at the problem presented in an innovative way, and we use building materials that are not taken into account before. Several times we have performed the analysis of the potential of a given solution on the special order of our clients. In some cases, we are able to perform tests on a 1: 1 scale element. If any of the solutions turns out to be particularly promising, we will endeavor to be included in the commercial catalog of our company in order to commercialize and disseminate it.

We invite investors who are facing a complex construction problem, as well as institutions that can contribute to the development of the project.
